In Oman, local clean energy company AB Energy has signed a strategic partnership with Wuxi Longmax Technology from China to jointly develop, assemble, and deploy mobile solar container systems, with plans to promote them across multiple Middle Eastern countries. In China, emerging new energy companies represented by Ampora Technology are also actively positioning themselves in this niche segment, driving technological upgrades and market expansion.
Meanwhile, innovation in the international mobile PV sector is accelerating. Spanish startup Nomad Solar Energy launched its containerized retractable solar PV generator product in early 2025, capable of deployment and disassembly within three hours, targeting humanitarian, military, construction, off-grid island, and mining site applications. The company has secured €15 million in financing and is accelerating commercialization.
Industry analysts point out that mobile PV container products, as a green alternative to traditional diesel generators, offer significant advantages including zero carbon emissions, low operating costs, and flexible deployment.
